Stay and Wait Workshop

The Stay and Wait Workshop teaches your dog to have patience and impulse control. Your dog will learn to hold sits and downs for a  longer duration, with distance, and with distractions present. Wait is introduced to your dog to decrease impulsive behaviors and build patience. Your dog will be rewarded for calm behaviors while they learn to go to their bed and stay there until released. We will address bolting out of doors and kennels, charging at the food bowl and house guests, and jumping excitedly when you walk through the door. While we practice adding duration to sit and down in this workshop, you can apply these skills to any behavior for added duration.
