Canine Good Citizen Lesson

Train your dog in a group environment and work on their socialization skills.

Canine Good Citizen is a 10-skill test that teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners. The 10-step Canine Good Citizen test is a non-competitive test for all dogs, including purebreds and mixed breeds. Owners will sign the Responsible Dog Owners Pledge. There is no minimum age requirement for dogs. Dogs may test on a flat collar, martingale, slip collar, or body harness. No prong collars, e collars, or head halters may be worn during the test. No retractable leads may be used during the test. Handlers are encouraged to talk to and praise their dogs, but no food or toy rewards may be used during the test. Evaluator will provide the 20 ft line.

Lessons are in Kingsport, TN. Location and time may be subject to change to better fit the needs of the class. Prepare to work outdoor unless otherwise discussed.
